philanthropy
Alpha Delta Pi has always believed in the importance of giving back to the community. A dedication to philanthropy guides our members to spend time in the service of those who need it most. Our international organization’s commitment to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) has led to the donation of over $15,000,000 over the course of our partnership. More than 350 Ronald McDonald Houses in 64 countries help keep families with seriously ill or injured children together when they need it most by offering them a comfortable, temporary residence in proximity to a medical facility. Our chapter loves supporting the mission of RMHC.
LOVE BUILT IT. ALPHA DELTA PI SUPPORTS IT.
RMHC keeps families with sick children close to each other and the care and resources they need. Alpha Delta Pi adopted Ronald McDonald House Charities as our national service project in 1979. Since that time, Alpha Delta Pi internationally has raised over $15 million to help provide a home away from home for families of critically ill children receiving medical care.

HOW WE GIVE BACK
Each year, we host a variety of events to give back to RMHC, an organization that means so much to all of us. Many of our sisters have personal ties to RMHC. Some stayed there as premature babies, and others stayed there while their siblings received the care they so desperately needed. Though some sisters do not have a personal connection to RMHC, they, too, recognize the importance of family. During some of the hardest times, RMHC helps keep families together. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this beautiful mission.
The Alpha Delta Pi Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports our sorority members and the overall success of our educational, leadership, and philanthropic activities. The following are just some of the many areas the Foundation supports: emergency grants to members in crisis, scholarships and leadership training for collegiate and alumnae sisters, resources to fight hazing and sexual assault, funding for the preservation of monuments and memorials unique to Alpha Delta Pi history. Our chapter contributes to the Foundation by joining the 1851 Violet Circle and by donating seven percent of proceeds from every philanthropy event.
